Wooing your woman: Parakeet style

This Sunday, it was fun to witness the courtship display of a pair of plum headed parakeets.

The male preened and tried to snuggle closer to its partner, but she fended off all his overtures. Sometimes indifferent, sometimes shy. But our loverboy carried on undeterred. Not once, but six times!

Aaj mood nahi hai….

And after all his efforts, she agreed to kootchie-coo and he got his big kiss. Wooing your woman is an art- across the species! Needs ample patience!

Finally, love is in the air!
